He is making tremendous contributions resulting in him being mentioned for his expertise on financial literacy and immigration in support of Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley: The Report of the Maryland Council for New Americans.

Paul knows a thing or two about adversity. While participating in a team triathlon competition in St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands, he along with his two teammates were put under with chemicals and were robbed in their sleep. After the police arrived, they were informed they were lucky they were not killed because a U.S. Navy seaman had been robbed and killed.
Paul attributes his personal development to the strong support he received from his parents, the teachers that inspired him throughout school, athletic coaches and military leaders such as General Colin Powell and the incredible people he worked for as a military officer in the United States Air Force for over 20 years.
After a 20 year career serving in the United States Air Force, with 12 consecutive years assigned to the Pentagon, Paul retired in the rank of lieutenant colonel. Prior to retiring he knew he would be working with organizations and youth and teens is important now more than ever, teens need strong leaders and mentors to guide them, provide wisdom and knowledge during these challenging times.
